WMWC 540 am NEWSLETTER
Hey DJs. We just wanted to drop you a note before finals and the holidays to let you know that we are still alive and that we are looking forward to next semester. A few changes will be made for 1995 and some things you might want to think about are included:
- The station will be closed starting on reading days, Friday, Dec. 2.
- Look forward to more advertising carts next semester which you will have to play and log in on the log sheet. Thank You to those of you who played the last one.
- If you want publicity (fliers) for your show next semester, we will have a form for you to fill out, and it will be handled by PK Hensel, the new publicity director. You won't have to do a thing (except hang them up maybe).
- We have picked a t-shirt design and we plan to have t-shirts made some time next semester. The will probably cost about $10 so look out for 'em.
Supposedly, we are going to be hooked up on the MWC information (blue) screen by next semester, however it is out of our hands. Depending on how the schedule for the telecommunications project is progressing it may be even later. Don't fret. You won't even have cable by then. To let you know ahead of time programming will change dramatically when we go blue screen. DJ policing
will increase dramatically, and you will have to abide by some new rules and regulations.
- We are looking for a new General Secretary so if you have those secreterial skills that we find so admirable, or if you don't but think you can learn then let us know! Call Chris x3839.
We are also looking for someone to help oul with programming so if you are interested call Jon H. x3823 or Chris T. x3820
- We are saying goodbye to...
Steve Nelson - Music Director
Michael Margolis - Technical Director
Maureen Duane - Assistant General Manager
Steve, Michael, and Maureen have done tons of work for the station behind the scenes since before you were born so if you see them say good bye and thank you.
Flip it over.
- We are saying hello to...
Matthias Svalina - Music Director
Jason Gordon - Assistant General Manager
Hank Elliott - Technical Director
Sean Bartnik - Assistant Technical Director
Justine Schmollinger - Advertising Director
Jenn Peterson - Assistant Business Director
OK. One more important thing. Do you want your show back? If sv fil] out this schedule again and drop it off at the station. There will be a box out front. We want to get on the air quickly next semester so fill out these things. We will also have a general interest meeting the first week we get back in January. Thanx. See you next semester.
